I think you are right Kevin, I have been going though a driveline ratio formula and it keeps telling me that the standard MTX-3 setups in 1st gear are 6.9 and the V One RR with the same Pinion is at about 7.1. I am still trying to verify that I have all the correct number of teeth on the rear diff. Can anyone verify if the rear diff to the MTX-3 is 48 teeth?
1st gear final drive ratio for the MTX-3 with stock gearing (16T/20T pinions and 47T/43T spurs) is 7.42. Final drive ratio for the 2nd gear is 5.43.

Yes, the MTX-3 has a 48T for the rear diff. The pulley arrangement is as below for the MTX-3 (front at the top and rear side at the bottom);

32T
24T 16T

19T 19T
48T

For the V1RR, the rear is the same with the exception of the front side;

32T
27T 18T

19T 19T
48T

If you calculate either front or rear internal drive ratios for the V1RR and the MTX-3, they come up to 2.526316. So they are the same.
