The version II has a slightly different rear top deck for better belt clearance, lighter front/rear bulkheads and also lighter engine mount. The center pulleys appear to be a nylon/plastic material as well, different from the alum. originals. The newer ones I believe make the belts wear less. That might be it, but yes you can also get those newer parts seperately.
