the best "feeling" radio in the hand in my opinion is still the ko propo mars, or mars R. it has the same features as the helios, but a smaller frame, and less overhang on the front lower part of the radio. The screen is a simple design that doesn't chew up batteries (ie my VXR lipo lasts about 2 months without a charge) and the button system is simpler, and easier to use than the helio's clicking wheel system. There is no figeting with the buttons on the old mars like there is with the helios.

also, the old mars or Mars R is alot cheaper, and if you are using a spectrum the speed advantage/response time that the helios has over the Mars R is lost anyway.

if the grips on your radio are too small, use tennis racquet grip tape on the handle.
