It is possible for an engine to be WAY TOO RICH on the bottom and act like the front bearing is spewing fuel?
Here is what the engine has been doing......
The first bearing, the seal kept popping out.....Second bearing, the seal was in tact, but the bottom half of the engine was covered in oil........Third bearing, metal shield........engine ran WAY TOO RICH on the bottom and had to lean it out almost 2 full turns....now, the fuel is minimal, but was thinking that maybee it was still just a little too rich....

I know that this might sound like a newbee question, but just curious if anybody else had the same thing happen?
As far as being too rich: I've personally experienced this and have come across it a few times in the forum. Too much fuel and no place for it to go, except out the front bearing. Per Dennis Richey, crankcase pressure will cause some leakage, but if it's way too rich, you'll see even more fuel.

What engine is this, btw??
