I have the new Speed Passion 3,5T brushless which is basically the same as the Orion one (since it's based on it). It has the internal cooling fan and boy, does it work! At six cells, outdoor, 85 degree day it was only 110 degrees warm, and the LRP speedo didn't even hit 90. So much power it fried my diff.
Note: When it rotates it sounds like something is horribly wrong, like the pinion mating up with a stripped spur, but dont worry, it just sounds like that. Very distintive sound, like no other brushless.
Ran my Vortex 4.5 this weekend at our first Nationals Series, TQ'ed and won all three mains!
The motor was faster than anything else on the track, no doubt
Ran against Novak 3.5's and LRP 3.5's, Very Very satisfied with the motor!!
My motor has very litle sound, just whistles, very cool
Can hardly wait to get to the track again for some more testing, this was really fun!!
