the xxx brush does beat down the comm pretty bad when i run too light of spring.they seem to like a slight bit heavier spring.i too,like OD said,found them to last as long as standard brushes.from what i heard some keep running them without serrations but still cut there comms as usual.i just like to see serrations so i chuck em when they are gone.
