another side note is that most all improvements seen when running a new car vs. old car is new car syndrome.all new parts with no slop,new bearings,new diff,straight chassis and so on.all the cars out there are capable of winning.there is no reason or way that a T plate or a link rear end will help you find .5 per lap.it is personal preference and what you feel more comfortable with.if you are finding drastic improvements in lap times then the chances are the "old" car had worn parts or was not set up right.i have driven L4 cars that were great and then tried peoples L4's that could barely get around the track.same goes with the link cars.with an even playing field,they should both feel good with a different feel between the 2 that would lead me to which one i prefer.
