whole reason I got into rc. i was wainting for my m3 and needed something to do. I love the track, so basically rc was the only outlet until my track car came in. I sold it 3 years later and "borrowed" a m5 for a week from the owner of the dealership. it was fun on the track, but just way too big. so I have a new m3 on the list. I can't wait, so i can get back to the track. it is the whole reason to have a car like that. i heard that steve dinnan has a turbo planned for the car to put it in the 500hp range.
also remember that the current m5 is one of the fastest sedans to run the ring. they call it the ring taxi
