Um, isn't that the issue we have now with the current batch of IB 4200 6-cell packs? You get a couple decent runs and then they drop off hard. This isn't a suggestion to save for a big race...the top teir drivers will always buy new packs before a big race, but rather something to save money for the week-in/week-out club racer.
