i had the mantis & ran it 3 times after i broke it in ,its a ok truggy but not great ,the upper front arms tend to strip out very easy & the radio & servo are horrible ,i heard the brake system is terrible too ...
for the price of $429 ultimate hobbies ,i would suggest you get the CEN matrix TR ,it has a nice radio & high torque metal gear servos & a decent engiine, you can find them for around $400 give or take a little with shipping ,i have seen them for $389 shipped..
