the results are proportional as expected.

from what i've seen of friends durometers the results i got are quite typical. remember- the gauge is touchy and if you push with more/less force the reading changes quite a bit.

i think Jack would agree- the results are well within the margin of error using a hand gauge vs. bench mounted guage on a stand.
