On the G4S id say .5/.6mm clutch gap and all the weights or at least 1 weight, endplay .1mm.
Preload is a touchy setting and id advise starting at 1mm with a black 1.8mm clutch spring.make adjustments of 1/4 turn untill it slips a bit and then back off 1/4 turn.
Gearing would depend on if you running std transmission gearing or ED.
std gearing id suggest 18t brake and side pulley and 18t 1st gear pinion ,if running ED run 15t or 16t 1st gear pinion.
ED is the way to go for the CRF though and would make the engine come alive both for bottom performance and top speed.
Thanks razzor! Have you tried the orion clutch setup with square springs? the ED transmission is next on my list, but this will do for now.. i've ordered 18t brake and 18t brake side to gear down the car but will still be using 26 front side with 2mm tire split. Can't wait...
