I think my motor was about 240 Degrees F if not a little more but we had a 35 degree celcius day. I tuned to performance and not to temps with this motor as advised from aussie supplier. So tune top end first and then bottom end and make sure plenty of smoke and snappy response. My plug was OS #8 and plug was not fouled. The Novarossi carby was a help too as find the factory carby junk to tune.
Thanks...I have giveup since I don't have good cab to replace...found lot of leakage recently too...so just got the CRF Wasp Rev 2007 .12 engine to match my tuned pipe...
