Well, on occasion they explode like grenades...... What do you think they are made of glass??? crystal??? for criing out loud they handle the abuse of being thrown into a wall at 40 mph!!!! if you drop them onto a padded surface then what kind of durability test are you preforming..... maybe just drop them from 3 inches onto a feather pillow......LOL
