Wouldn't dropping the cells 2 foot onto a hard surface risk damaging them? Not worth doing just to test a joint in my opinion.
I agree....what i do after im done soldering is i take a flat blade screwdriver and stick it under the bar on each side, then lift up a little. if the bar doesnt flex at the solder joint its strong enough for me. dont drop your packs!
