Not totally true...

0 degree kickup will smooth the car out on turn-in and through the corner. Weight also transfers to the front faster. It is better to use 0 degree kick up to smooth the car out on high traction surfaces.

2 degree kickup is the kit setting because it works best in most conditions. It will cause the car to turn into the corner more and will reduce steering on turn exit.

When calculating total caster take into account kick-up angle and caster block angle. More total caster will cause the sedan to steer into the corner more and reduce steering on turn exit.

For example, using kit and optional settings:

Most steering into the turn and least off: 2 kickup + 4 caster block

Least steering into the turn and most off: 0 kickup + 0 caster block

Mix different kickup and caster block angles to get desired handling characteristics in between extremes.
