I feel there is quite a bit of conflicting information floating around, on what head clearance, glow plug and fuel to use with the .12 STI. I also think it depends on where in the power band you want the most power - either bottom end or top end.

At present, I find that the stock shims, 20% nitro and a Sirio 7 plug does not provide enough bottom end for the track I run on, with either the Sirio or Skyline pipes. Clutch nut on my RRR is 1.2mm and I'm using the stock gearing. It spools up nice and smoothly, but I want a lot more speed than it's giving me. Since I haven't had enough time to experiment with the engine yet, it's possible that I just haven't leaned the LSN enough, need to adjust the clutch or change my gearing.

In simpler terms, my CRF is currently faster than my STI.
