I've been using a spintek BM to discharge to .9 for a while now(30-40cycles on six bats) with no problem. I do use a novak discharge tray and tray them with the hold setting @ .9 for about five minutes before charging them and they're still very strong, with great runtime
I allways store them ( between weekly races) at about 20% charge. Hope this helps
