1. What went wrong and what I fixed. ( but I still want more bottom end )
carby was not seated fully. - fixed and re-tuned.. (air leak ).

2. Changed from 30% Rocket S. to 20%. - Local Kyosho sponsored driver recommeneded.

3. Will over oiling the filter cause any type of issue? I do really pack on the oil on the filter. local guy noticed me oiling the filter and freaked out... I took off the filter and i could see blue oil in the intake... good or bad? effects?

In your opinions.. is it the clutch or the motor.. did I mess it up?

It is getting better now. but. when I start the car i have to really rev it to keep it from dying. Once it gets warm.. its fine.. after 5 mins the temp is 220 running hard at 80-82 deg outside temp.

I did losen my clutch.. after reading the forum.. maybe i need to tighten instead? Gearing is 17/23 56/61.

I am going to order another Sti.. just in case this one is messed up I guess. The speedline is coming up.. i dont want a DNF due to motor issues.

Thanks
First I would say don't over oil the filter. Put just enough to make the foam wet but not so much that you can squeeze it out. Next I would say to go with the stock gears unless you have a very large track. I have run my STI with those gears and it didn't have much bottom end but the track is huge. It feels much better with the stock gears. If you need the top end, try 16/60 and 22/55. Then I would set the preload on the clutch to at least 1.2mm as stated in the manual. With those gears I increased my preload to 1.4mm. It helped a little but not enough. The engine is a screamer.

I also agree with what turboxray said.
