One thing about the GTB is the giant capacitor; you can locate it on the side opposite the esc to help balance the car. BTW I just balance the front part of the car without the motor pod attached. I don't think this is the best solution but better than balancing out the imbalance of the motor pod of a brushless car by piling weight on one side of the chassis
