Yeah i asked this too and nobody I asked had any fancy answers on reinforcing the stinger or what pipes won't bend. They suggested I just avoid hitting the walls. Easier said than done sometimes.

So then it comes down to getting thr right pipe that provides the proper power and runtime for your engine. Overall I'd say the Skyline VR12+ is the best one right now. The Novarossi pipes also provide smooth power response, but from everything I've seen they have a shorter runtime on most engines.
