previously i just install those 3 pieces thrust bearing whicever way i like (as long as the bearing r in the middle)...but after carefully reading the manual u will notice that the 2 washers that 'sandwich' the thrust bearing has 2 different sizes..if i am not mistaken the smaller internal diameter goes inside (please correct me
), as for the bearing itself i do not think putting it whicever side will effect the mechanical functions....just like u guys said maybe less or more dirt..
