A patto i do have the ed transmission and i try to do what you said but my dogbone doesn't reach my joint cups when i put the pins. what I'm i doing wrong here?

if so, i had a faulty front axle. the one way bearings were turning inside the housing of the tube. if you have the pins out, try putting them back in to make it a solid axle, then see if it helps the situation.
also if you turn the front wheel one way it should be easy to turn, the other way and it should lock up. turn it harder when its about to lock up, and you may feel it slip , like i did. just something to rule out first.
