besides angled or flat servo, also buried in this thread is talk of where the servo is mounted and the affects of the steering linkage (viewed from the top) being angled forward, angled back, or near straight.

i try to run them near straight, even with that in mind you can mount a servo forward so the links are mounted behind the servo saver or with the servo back so the links are mounted in front. each way has a affect on steering and handling due to the weight shift.

i am currently running a new CEFX C-12, i mounted the servo angled but in the position where should be mounted flat. the servo is farther forward compared to a 12L4 or CRC T-fource. the links are straight and mounted behind the servo saver. it has been working great. the frontend feels planted and steering feels crisper and precise compared to my previous set-up.
