See your LHS or maybe have someone with more experience help you tune the motor. The reason it is 'slack' is also because it is too rich.
i had done a proper running in and been running quite a fews tank thru.
had change to a new front bearing too.... and still oily shown in the picture..
but funny thing is when i throttle on the box, can't see any leak at all , its only when i run a few lap back, its happen ...
maybe i lean and see hpws the result.
