honestly, iv'e used the kyosho tyres on my rrr and they were really good but i ran out so i threw on a set of gq tyres (exactly the same shore as kyoshos) and the car felt exactly the same.
there was no noticable difference in lap times either.
the only thing i hate about the kyosho red box tyres is they warp too easily. the inside of the hex is not reinforced enough and a light tap of a board will result in +5 camber when measured with a camber gauge. lucky i changed wheels and re-checked my camber!

ohh and if your looking for a strong rim try gq tyres! never buckled or warped a rim!
