ya I had the problem of getting one of the trinity fans with the stand offs, to go on the endbell of the motor, well buddy at the LHS said to hook right up to the bat, and it would spin a little faster, hooked her up, and it did not even spin. but it started to get hot, went and got another one, he tested it first on they're power supply, ran good, went home put it on, same thing, would not even turn over once. the motor did say 5 v on the side, so I got a much more, and well it works fine. so there are some better quality and cheep'r quality fans out there.
