The car is actually more rigid than you would think by looking at it. The designer of the car explained to me that by raising the height of the bulkhead slightly, that this increases torsional stiffness. One great thing about this also is with the car set-up like that, it is very resistent to tweak as compared to some of the other cars who have the bulkheads slammed down. The car can withstand harder impacts than other cars and remain consistent throughout the run as opposed to being tweaked and drive terribly.
