It was a little bit of an exageration on my part, it says Blown FET hybrid modules on the Ko site. So not necessarily the entire board but a part of the IC board. I have never heard of it happening so it must be pretty rare. It states that if the servo is at full lock left or right and the wheels are bound up on something so that they can not turn at all and the servo receives the command to return to neutral or the opposite direction, then the servo will get a surge of power and because it cannot move it will blow the module! At least pretty much to that affect. It also states some other causes. Maybe this just simply doesn't apply for other makes because it seems as though they are about the only company that makes the FET boosted servos. At least they are the only ones that mention that they have FET's in them. If you are curios about this go to the Ko site and go to What's New, then to News and click on the 17th of march!
