Because thats how Jconcepts designed the layout, it was just carried over when HPI copied the BJ4 and made thier D4.
HPI should have just had Jconcepts make them some BJ's with purple anodizing and then just slap some HPI labels on the box. Would have been simpler.
Oh well, hopefully it will get more people into electric off-road.
