Just to stir up the servo debate...
At the last club race a racer who used to be local came out just to say hi to old friends. Dave G. He had a diggity designs car, and he's always been fast. I took a look at the car because of the interesting design, but what caught my eye was the servo. He was using a Bluebird micro servo that you would normally find in a micro helicopter. The servo sells for $25! He qualified #2 and was leading the A main by a bunch when his battery dumped.
Not bad for a 25 dollar servo
