It's a feel thing and I personally prefer running power caps on my equipment because I like the throttle delivery and acceleration with them versus without. Think of it as just another tuning aid.
Thanks Gary, I posted onto the keyence thread, and ordered the voltage protector as a precaution. Guys were running power caps on G12cIII's? I still have my old one, I wonder if it still works (and if Tekin would fix it if it wasn't)....Hmmmm....
