I don't know if T.O.P are going to change the colour and chassis of the standard car as of yet, but I'm sure it would be in response to various drivers' opinions, ie red looks much cooler The 2.5 chassis will give less grip, which would also lower the need for the alloy bulkheads, but if they use the USA spec 2.5 chassis, this allows for wheelbase adjustments on the suspension arms, a very useful tuning tool the std car doesn't have.
If this change is supposedly for a 2007 model, I'm sure it will be released soon, and I'm also sure we will see many interesting things on the car at the TITC coming up in a month and a bits time.
