I have been keep tabs on the MTX-4 thread too and the stripping issue isn't really very common. I think with a good hex driver you won't have problems tightening the engine mounting screws enough. AI, I like your idea of a cross over thread for all of us orphaned R40 guys. Heck, I might even get the new kit. I have so little time to race, but my finances are in good shape so....
