Raymond, I don't know the internal gear ratio of TBII but your final gear ratio with 23T should be ~4.9->5.3 just like DTM mentioned before! So, in your case, you may use smaller pinion in order to gain some torque... On the other hand, you can also use a spur gear as large as possible! (Oh, don't be too large and come out of the chasis!) drive ratio of EVO2 is 2.125. I am using spur/115, pinion/43. The total ration should be 5.68. Should be within range.
I got another spur/116 and pinion/47. Also within range. I may try larger spur gear later.
