it does make sense

it's a variation on the same theme. it's the temperature that you get into the engine that is important. this is what makes the piston and sleeve heat up, which in turn beds both piston and sleeve to each other. no one does the break in method exactly the same. as long as you are not idling it full rich and it's just sitting there at a ridiculously low temp, as long as it is getting hot, you are acheiving the same results, weather it is blipping and reving it for the first tank ont he bench or weather it is driving it for the first tank.
