The stiffer outer edge will increase initial turn-in but will take away traction in the middle while the tire is riding towards the outer edge. John's BSR offers a Double Pink/ Orange front tire and a Double pink/ Purple rear tire. has the same effect of giving more rotation, but the stiffer outer wall helps with tire wear and does cut down on chunking a little. I've been running them this way for about a year now and they work great.
