InitialD, you said you had to use a longer screw for your servo. I've taken this approach, too, but now I find that the steering arm on the right-hand side of the car is almost touching the transmission belt (even closer than it looks in the following photo:

And when I turn the wheels fully right, this plastic part is fouling the belt completely!!
My LHS suggested to put the ball joints ontop of the part which fixes onto the servo head, but when I try this the plastic ends won't fit onto the ball joints, as they foul on the disc protrusion of the item which fits onto the servo head.
Any suggestions from any Futaba servo users would be most welcome.
