Glad to see this posted in a new thread rather than other threads getting hijacked.
McSmooth... You make great points. Our club started over 7 yrs ago and we went for several years driving over and hour for a couple R/C parts. Now there are 6 R/C tracks and 3 hobby shops within 15 miles. However, it seems that there are only 3-5 people at our track that always do what they can to keep the track up and going. At the other tracks it seems to e less people than that. These people are the heart and soul of the R/C hobby.
As for the Hobby shops it seems there are several people out there that get all kinds of help from the local shop and then switch to another shop or order online because they think there getting a better deal. What they don't realize is that they are throwing away freindships and more!
