Voltage was another I had 7.30 discharge packs
The last was keeping the motor clean not just sprayed out but I polish the comm with a copper cleaner and take any glazing off the comm and brush.
Also lube the bushings with a synthetic I prefer Tribo for lube and comm drop
Not rocket science but it worked for me
Hope it helps, Dan
PDR is just the city I live in. Playa Del Rey FYI. I was at Tamiya TCS race in August, and raced in MINI class. I remember your car were unbeatable on the straights and runs super smooth. I think you even beat the GT2 time or come very close to it with the MINI.
I was going to ask you about the motor at the track back then, but didn't really get a chance to do so.
So how do you go about taking the glaze off the comm and brush? did you just dip the whole motor in a copper cleaner?
Thanks
