I started my race career in 85 running oval paved.. when they went to 4 cell I dumped it for faster pastures. 6 cell pan onroad..then some idiot invented the tc.with freeking skinny rubber tires.. yeah lets add a freeking belt 75% more resistance in the drive train add a pound and a half, run on shit for tires, use shoebox bodies and discontinue making onroad pan cars. try to make runtime going half as fast on 2000 mah batts.
Who's smoking crack.!! Now we have technology with BL systems, Lipos and Gas car foams.. these cars can now smoke and 8th scale nitro car. anywhere anytime. If we had this back in the pancar heyday.. 70mph would be no problem all day long.
