4 cell is a joke and today's test proved it. Mod may be able to drop a turn in motors to make up the 2 cell loss but stock and 19 turn suffered drastically. Harshguy will post all of the lap time info when he gets it all done but IMO it's a JOKE!!!
To top it all off, none of us asked for this. So why the change? In EFRA, there are a few that state they need 2-3 armatures per club meeting as they "BLOW UP"... What a crock... And it would seem that has caught the attention of the ROAR excomm.
If European club racers are physically "blowing up" 2-3 motors a club day, just how many people manage to finish the mains? NONE?? That's the law of averages. If you're "blowing up" 66% of the time, it's fair to say that 66% of the racers are not going to finish... Anybody here know if only 4 out of 10 racers finish every main event in Europe?
Gotta look out for stuff like this.. All it takes is one racer to bend ROAR's ear, and BAMMO, we have new rules BASED ON HERESAY. Don't think it can't happen.
I think most of us are willing to listen to good debate. If these blowups are happening at this un-bleiveable rate, show us. Show us the race results where nobody finished, or only 4 managed to finish, or nobody even qualified as they ALL "BLEW UP"... THAT would indeed be an epidemic. Show us some results.
Don't use words like, "many", or "a lot", "to many", "tons", show us a number, and show the epidemic that is believed by those in charge of EFRA, and those that support it's decisions.
I think we are all willing to look. Show us something tangible.
