This has probably been discussed before but I can't find it. What are the specific differences between the EVO 3 and the STI? Is it just the "hand picking/matching/assembly" or are the components different? The website is a little vague because the EVO 3 has a coated crankshaft with epoxy and cuts in the sleeve also. Is there a noticable difference in power between the 2?

The STI has more AGGRESSIVE porting on the sleeve. I think that's about as far as you can go in terms of porting on a full production motor. It's definitely impressive to see a stock engine come out of the factory like it does. The only thing that could be improved is the porting on the crank. It's also hard coated.
Power wise there is a big difference, that's my opinion personally.
