if you are on a tight budget, you dont need universals. Useful upgrades, i think would be steel pinion gears and Alum side stiffener. I run the my car with only these no universals almost plainly stock and I never had problems at all. I am very happy with the performance.
but if you have money, what the heck, get them all...
