Since the first car on the new track is less then a day after the track is completed, the track is usually very wet and soft. The end of day one the track sets up due to the number of cars and by day two you are in better shape but with only two days of running on the track and not a ton of time for it to dry out (especially with the colder Dec weather) this track tends not to setup real well for this race. Not to say there is not traction or the layout will not be a blast but the conditions for this race are different then just about any other time you will race at So Cal.
