the only wheels i've tried to reuse are my offroad wheels. I like baking them off opposed to boiling. I preheat the oven to 350, let them bake for 10-15 min., take them out and work the bead. they just pop right off. its a good idea to use a old cookie sheet and old oven mitts. my mechanic gloves were'nt quite heat resistant as i thought
. but they come off easy and you don't have to worry about boiling water splashing around. after the tires are off and the wheels cool off, you can take the remaining ca off with a exacto knife. it will just flake off. hope this helps.
