And you'll need a airplane propeller starter to start the engine on it. Something like this (http://www.sullivanproducts.com/StartersContent.htm):



You don't have to use a break-in stand, but it is the preferred method for some. A lot of people just use their car. Most (if not all) manufacturer's instructions are for in car break-in.

I'm going to try the break-in stand method for my STI and my TZ when I replace the piston/sleeve. Should be interesting.
