No I really do not think the GM waas out in 89. The hot motors were silver cans like Peak Performance, Twister, Reedy, Race Prep, Extreme. This was also the time Losi still had motors. The Double Trouble was a Losi motor. It was a 30 or 36 degree motor. It was a good one for offroad.
