This is what I run in my X10:
Futaba 9451 servo with losi long horn, more predictable and responsive steering without a servo saver. You might have to grind away part of the chassis where the steering linkage goes through so it does not rub.
Spektrum micro reciver
Novak GTX speedo
Ultraline Checkpoint 8x2
With the Spektrum micro reciver and the GTX, I can fit both behind the servo so you dont have to mount the reciver on top of the servo. (lower CG baby!!!)
