As much as I am pro Tamiya I think Losi may soon have a big advantage.
I am seeing things the same way as you Mr. Black. With Lipo's coming on strong, chassis designs need to get the motor to the center of car. Six months ago I never would have said this, but the Losi JRX-S design is starting to make alot of sense.
